Love Yourself by Romanticizing Life
Elinor Glyn tells us that "Romance is the glamour which turns the dust of everyday life into a golden haze." Obviously, not all of us are lucky enough to have a romantic partner to bring the romance into our lives, but that doesn’t mean romance can’t be in your life. What you need to do is romanticize your everyday moments. You can cut your sandwiches into a cute shapes or make fancy lemonade with an herbal garnish at home. If you’ve heard of dopamine dressing, you can pick out clothing and accessories that really make you happy to see them. Making a playlist to go in the background of your most mundane moments can make even studying seem enviable or nostalgic. Overall, you are looking to engage your senses, and to make your life memorable. Make your life picture-worthy. This is how you bring romance into your life. You must love yourself so much that you seek you woo yourself. You must truly love your life with more than just large gestures, but in the smallest of gestures. You see your life through living lenses.
